This is the wallpaper on P's laptop. K, as usual, finding some reason to stall and not go to bed, looked on with interest. I think she noticed it again because P has recently cleared his laptop and it now has much fewer icons.
She asked whose hands they were. P told her that they were hers and mine when she was just a day old.
She thought for a while and asked, "Kimberley got no thumb?"
