Cocomallow

I'm thinking about K's birthday in Dec. First of all, there is the cake. I'm looking at two recipes. One seems easy enough but need to know if it's edible. It's super sinful to say the least but I think the kids might like it.

First of all, you microwave the entire packet of marshmallows (large) along with some butter. Or if you are like me and want to be anal about following instructions more specific, you would count 40 of them. I mean, you never know how many the different brands come in!

You mix the mixture which looks surprisingly like batter well.

Then you enthusiastically pour in a whole bag of coco pops.

And stir some more. I was a little freaked out at how the mixture started looking like bugs stuck in a spider web.

Then you press the mixture into a tin and have an eager beaver put on the spinkles.

Tada! Not too bad.

Look at the happy beaver. Who was eating the sprinkles off the floor and stool.

Here is the finished product which we distributed to the kids in church. We had to save our waistlines! They were gone in a jiffy. Good. A very probable option. And inexpensive one too, considering the ingredients. Hurray for Coco Pops.
